What is the Azure Series?

Newport Controls Azure series takes a very smart controller to a new level with media and Internet connections for the high end.  Add photos, games, and multiple function mood settings for user enjoyment and you can see why we say it is a new playing field.

How does it work?

If you want simple, push our dedicated function buttons and the spa performs your desires with a single push. If you want it to do more, think cell phone navigation to open unheard spa capabilities to navigate around the richest set of features and applications available in the industry.

Is the product reliable?

The system hardware is very robust with derated electrical components, redundant safety features with technician and consumer protection built in. It is manufactured with aerospace quality and processes while backed by a "no fault" warranty.

Is it easy to install?

The panel mounts topside on the spa with varying footprints depending on screen size and the number of function buttons. It connects with a controller that fits into most existing installations. Wiring is accomplished with an access hatch and connects easily to over-sized components.

Is it maintainable?

The system constantly monitors current, temperature, circulation, and other critical elements. An internal service application captures events and maintains a timed log for the technician. Other equipment malfunctions can be fault isolated to shorten service calls.

How does it work with entertainment?

The top panel manages 3rd party entertainment with an IR connection. Also available is Newport Controls own e-controller which plugs in personal items such as iPods, Zunes, Satellite Radio, and memory sticks with an internal MP3 player. It plays music, video, or other recorded media.

How can it help dealers sell more spas?

In addition to the right hardware, excellent design, a flexible operating system, and cool applications, the Azure series offers custom graphics, infomercials to promote the company's objectives, and a contact connection on the display for better support and more business opportunities.

Do I need to remove the entire Heater in order to Replace the Heater Element?

No.  Because of Newport Controls unique Patented design, all you have to do is remove 6 screws and disconnect the Heater Connector, to completely remove the Heater Element.

Do I need to Torque the Heater Connections for a Safe Heater Element Replacement?

No.  The Heater Element is connected to the System Board with a large 60 Amp Rated Connector, which always assures proper contact for over twice the Heater rating.

Do I need to Remove and Replace the System Board if I need New Software or Feature Changes?

No.  The Software Program and Feature Package are all contained in a standard USB Flash Drive (Memory Stick) which plugs into the System Board.  New content can be emailed to you, or a new Flash Drive can be sent to you.
